Phantom monks

A line of black robbed monks was once seen walking across a field near St John's Church. The witness saw them in broad daylight and described them as being completely solid in appearance.

Carlton Park

A man driving a horse and cart appears to haunt the dirt track leading to St Peter's Church. The figure was described as 'wearing old fashioned clothes' and appeared not to notice the terrified female witness who was out walking her dog at the time. The apparition then promptly vanished!
