John was born in Edmonton, North London. He now lives in Suffolk. He's an actor, radio and TV presenter and is the author of books and magazine articles on history, crime, ghosts and folklore. One of his guides, Roman Lincoln, was turned into a BBC Radio documentary. He acted as the co-presenter.
John currently writes for Psychic News and Suffolk and Norfolk Life.
John has branched out into acting and has recently appeared in the new series of BBC 2's the Detectorists with MacKenzie Crook of The Office and Pirates of the Caribbean fame. He's also appearing in an independent production drama series, Our Town, currently being filmed in Great Yarmouth.
John recently joined Smart Radio in Norfolk. He hosts two shows every Tuesday.
John was a regular history contributor to Mustard TV in Norfolk.
He also wrote, presented and directed shows for Felixstowe TV and East Media Productions, including an interview with Richard Felix of Most Haunted fame.
John has worked as a presenter at five radio stations and has over 650 shows to his credit.
John has been interviewed on BBC Essex, BBC Suffolk, BBC Lincolnshire, RWSfm, Felixstowe Radio, Felixstowe TV, Blythe Radio, ICR, Deben Radio, Blog Talk Radio, IO Radio and Minster FM about his books and his interest in history, ghosts and folklore.
John's has been the subject of articles in several newspapers concerning his books and interest in ghosts.
John is featured in Paul Salmon's book 'The Making of a Medium'. The book is devoted to Paul's work as a medium and features some of the paranormal investigations Paul and John did together. You can purchase the book on Amazon.
